PILOTAGE
No Pilot assistance, vessel to enter day or night and anchor on it's own. Prior arrival of vessel, they have to call Captain of Ports, Panaji on ch.16 or 73 (who may answer on working days and may not answer on holidays) giving the arrival time. Port authorities are tracing vessel on their VTMS. Pls therefore keep your AIS system "ON" failing which they will take assistance of Navy to trace/identify vessel at ship's cost.

RESTRICTION
Vessel at this port work at outer anchorage where there are no draft/loa restrictions & vessel loading operations to their full seasonal marks during fair season.
TIDE
The tidal range is 2.3 M during Spring tide and is 1.0 M during Neap tide.

PORT LAYOUT
PORT REGULATION
The Port has made it compulsory for all vessels entering Panaji Port to have a valid P & I Cert. of Entry. The insurance cover for wreck removal and pollution damages should be covered by a P & I Club. Master to have original of P & I Cert. on board which to be made available to Pilot for perusal. Same should be valid. Owners / Disp. Owners required to fax prior arrival of vessel the scanned copies of such certificates duly signed by the issuing authority.
